No coding experience required. The visual strategy builder lets you create strategies with easy dropdown selections. Select your conditions, indicators, and parameters from simple dropdown menus—no code needed. For indicators, you can drag and drop them directly into the indicators folder and they'll work instantly without restarting. Python support is available for advanced users who want more control, but it's completely optional.
Can I connect to other brokers?
Currently, EvolvingTraders supports Interactive Brokers through their API. Support for additional brokers may be added in future updates based on user demand.
Can I practice trading without risking real money?
A simulation trading account is included with the software, allowing you to practice and test strategies in a risk-free environment before trading with real money.
Do I need a monthly subscription?
No. EvolvingTraders is a one-time payment for lifetime access. No recurring fees, no hidden costs—just a single purchase and you own it forever.
What are the system requirements?
Windows operating system (latest versions), minimum 4 GB RAM, and 500 MB disk space. The download link is provided immediately after purchase.
How does backtesting work?
EvolvingTraders uses real historical market or any other data that you choose from your data folder (including simulation data) to simulate how your strategy would have performed in live trading. This helps you understand potential returns and risks before deploying the strategy live.
Where is the market data?
Your data stays on your computer. All market data is saved in CSV format in the 'data' folder—fully under your control.
